Use popping corn to make your own popcorn whenever you like! All you need is a heavy bottomed saucepan with a tightly fitting lid and some cooking oil.
Heat up a little oil in your pan, then add the corn kernels. Try not to overfill your pan – a quarter full of kernels should do it – otherwise there won’t be enough space for them to pop. Cover with the lid and continue heating. You’ll soon hear the kernels popping! When the popping dies down, take off the heat and carefully remove the lid.
Transfer to a bowl and season the popcorn while hot – use traditional flavours like salt and sugar, or get creative and use your favourite herbs, spices, and even freeze-dried fruit powders. For extra indulgence, drizzle over melted chocolate or caramel.
