Description
Pariani Italian pine nut oil lends distinctive buttery and resinous notes to salad dressings and garnishes. Drizzle over pasta and toss with fresh basil leaves and parmesan shavings for a ‘deconstructed’ pesto dish.
Pine nut oil is also fantastic with artichokes. Drizzle straight over roasted artichoke hearts or whisk into a vinaigrette with white wine vinegar and a little parsley, and enjoy as a dip with steamed artichoke leaves.
The pine nuts hail from the pine-forested coast of Pisa. One of the nature reserves there, San Rossore, is particularly famous for its pine nuts - and they're a favourite of Pariani.
