Messermeister Custom Chef Nakiri Style Knife, 16.5cm

Description

Messermeister’s custom chef nakiri style knife makes light work of chopping hard vegetables. With a thin blade and straight cutting edge, this cleaver-like blade is excellent for slicing and shredding cabbages, onions and potatoes.

Made in Solingen, Germany – which is world-renowned for quality stainless steel – these kitchen knives rank a high 58 on the Rockwell scale. The hard steel means the blade will hold its sharp, 15 degree edge for longer. Each knife has a ceramic stonewash finish which offers smooth slicing and greater stain-resistance – fantastic for keeping your knives looking fresh, use after use.

A blend of resin and reclaimed canvas creates a beautiful handle that offers a secure grip and striking texture. The joy of these custom knives is that they’re modular in design – you can switch the handle while keeping the blade the same.

How to care for your knives:

  • Hand-wash with warm water and a mild detergent; rinse and dry immediately.
  • Do not put the knives in the dishwasher.
  • Avoid cleaners containing bleach or citrus extracts.
