Mariage Freres Powdered Matcha Uji Tea, 40g

Description

Uji matcha is a green tea made from young Gyokuro leaves. Mariage Frères imports the fine green powder from Uji, a region in Kyoto, Japan.

Uji matcha has a creamy, earthy flavour with minimal bitterness. You can serve it hot, over ice or use it to flavour ice cream and desserts.

For one serving of tea, place 1.5g of matcha powder in a bowl. Add 40ml of 80°C water and use a bamboo whisk to combine. Use a vigorous ‘W’ motion until the matcha becomes frothy. Serve immediately.
