Enjoy mango flavoured mochi with a cup of green tea in the morning, or as a post-dinner petit four. These sugar-dusted glutinous rice balls have a hidden mango centre which replaces the traditional red bean filling. The result is a sweet flavour and creamy texture. 

Mochi have a pillowy-soft, chewy texture that’s almost a cross between marshmallow and bubblegum. These rice cake sweets are especially popular in Taiwan and Japan. The process of making mochi from scratch involves multiple steps, from making a red bean paste to preparing the dough and moulding into the round shape.
