Citizens of Soil Sicilian olive oil has an intense, peppery flavour. It’s a limited edition, small batch oil from sun-soaked Syracuse. The producer, Francesca, is passionate about quality and sustainability. Is this your first time buying from us?

The oil is made from Cerasuola olives which are native to Sicily. They are organically grown and milled within hours of being picked. The result is an outstanding oil with low acidity and medium bitterness.

On the nose, there are aromas of green bell pepper, apple and artichoke. Taste it on its own to discover notes of chicory and almond. It’s smooth and fruity with a lingering spicy finish.

Packed with polyphenols, this Italian EVOO is a great addition to your larder. Drizzle it over grilled anchovies and pasta alla Norma. It turns a simple salad into a Mediterranean masterpiece.

Serve the oil in dipping bowls so dinner guests can dunk their bread. It’s a great way to savour its bold, peppery flavour.

The limited edition bottle was designed in collaboration with artist Hal Haines. He is the artist in residence at Casa Lawa in Sicily. The colourful brushstrokes are inspired by the landscape of the region.
