Tuck a spear beside a sausage in a soft bun, using the pickle’s acidity to cut through fried onions and mustard. They also make a bracing Bloody Mary garnish. For a hot snack, batter and fry them into frickles, then serve with something cool and creamy.

Goat Rodeo Goods makes pickles, preserves, condiments and seasonings with plenty of crunch, sharpness and punch. The aim is simple: make basic food banging!

Founders Kat and Lucy work from a farm in the wild west of Scotland. The idea began with surplus crops from their farm and nearby growers. Rather than let good vegetables end up on the compost heap, they turned them into pickles and preserves.

Everything is developed in-house, then made by hand in small batches. Expect cucumber pickles, pickled onions, spice blends, rubs and flavoured salts.
