Cherry Rocher Creme de Violette, Violet Liqueur, 500ml


Crème de violette gives drinks and desserts a subtle floral flavour and aroma. Made from an infusion of violet flowers, it’s particularly good in drinks made with gin or vodka. In France, it’s often added to white wine or Champagne and served as a pre-dinner aperitif. To fully embrace the floral theme, garnish your drink with edible flowers.

Crème de violette is an essential ingredient in an Aviation cocktail, made with London dry gin, lemon juice and maraschino liqueur. The violet liqueur balances the sweet-tart cherry flavour and turns the drink an alluring shade of purple.

This unique liqueur can also be used in baking to give sponge cakes, custard and panna cottas a delicate floral aroma. Add a splash to royal icing to make pale purple cupcakes for a spring soirée.
