Meet the maker: DOIY

DOIY started in 2008 at a kitchen table in Barcelona, where a Franco-Spanish couple called Élodie and Jaime began making prototypes with their own hands. They carried those first pieces to trade shows on a shoestring budget, hoping someone would notice. Today, Élodie and Jaime design everything themselves, start to finish. Their whole idea is simple: take something you already use every day, then twist it until it makes you smile. A pizza cutter becomes a tiny fixie bicycle, complete with two spinning wheels and its own little stand.
