Description
Malt vinegar is a beloved British condiment with a complex, mellow flavour. Now enjoyed by households around the world, it is milder and sweeter than other vinegars. In the UK, it’s typically used as a condiment, splashed liberally over freshly fried fish and chips to cut through the rich batter.
Malt vinegar can also be used to make salad dressings, pickles, chutneys and glazes. Try sprinkling a few drops over baked oily fish or mixing it with soy sauce and brown sugar as a simple marinade for chicken.
Moutarde de Meaux are perhaps best known for their award-winning and world-famous Pommery mustards. They’ve also been producing vinegar since 1865, with the same care and passion for great flavour. Just like their mustards, Pommery vinegars come in traditional stoneware bottles with a natural cork stopper and wax seal.
