Reduced salt miso is a white fermented bean paste with reduced salt content. White miso is used at the heart of Japan’s cuisine. This reduced salt miso has a mildly salty taste, and sweeter, lighter flavours than red miso.

Simply stir two tablespoons into dashi stock to make miso soup, and then add seaweed, mushroom, noodles and tofu. This versatile reduced salt ingredient is great in light vinaigrette dressings for salads and side dishes, as well as sauces or glazes for white fish.

Ingredients: Water, soybean (31%), rice, salt, firming agent magnesium chloride, alcohol. Contains soya. Please note brand may differ from product in photograph depending on availability.
