Vieira sugared almonds are a colourful treat with sweet, nutty crunch in every bite. Each roasted almond has a crisp sugar coating. Use these pink and white almonds to decorate a homemade cake or serve in bowls at parties. They also make lovely party favours at weddings, christenings and birthdays.

Sugared almonds are traditionally given to guests at weddings. In Italy, each guest receives five almonds, representing fertility, longevity, happiness, health and wealth. It is said that the slightly bitter flavour of fresh almonds is to remind us that life is both bitter and sweet.
