Description
Young green jackfruit is a popular plant-based alternative to meat, often used in curries and stir-fries. Jackfruit is one of the largest tree-borne fruits in the world and, when young and green, it has a mostly neutral flavour. The flesh has a firm, stringy texture and easily absorbs the flavour of spices and sauces.
This Jackfruit comes in two sizes:

You can add it to curries, simmer it in teriyaki sauce or add spices and salsas for a vegan taco filling. Glazed with smoky barbecue sauce, it makes a convincing alternative to pulled pork.
