Puglian Lemon Extra Virgin Olive Oil In Tin, 250ml

Description

This extra virgin olive oil has a rich, fruity flavour that is brightened by the freshness of Italian lemons. Produced in Puglia, the cold-pressed oil adds a mellow citrus note to grilled fish, white meat and summer salads. Try swirling it over seafood spaghetti or a shaved fennel salad topped with white crab meat.

Endlessly versatile, this lemon-flavoured oil is great for marinating prawns and chicken thighs before grilling. Blend it with crushed garlic, lemon juice and your favourite herbs - rosemary, thyme and oregano work well. The delicate citrus flavour is also perfect for desserts like gelato and olive oil cakes flavoured with lemon zest.

Galantino is based in the town of Bisceglie, Apuglia – the region that produces more olives than any other in the world. The medieval town is steeped in history, perched on the Adriatic coast and surrounded by ancient olive groves. Galantino’s oil is renowned for its quality and consistency, and holds protected status (PDO). The family olive mill has been pressing oil since 1926, and is run today by the third generation. All their olives are carefully selected and washed before being crushed on traditional stone mills.

Presented in a stylish striped tin, this flavoured olive oil will look (and taste) fantastic in your kitchen. It’s an ideal gift for keen cooks and Italian food lovers.

Storage: Keep away from heat and direct sunlight.

Ingredients: Extra virgin olive oil 99%, lemon essential oil 1%
