Frantoio Muraglia Aromatic Chilli Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 200ml

Description

Frantoio Muraglia aromatic chilli extra virgin olive oil is the chilli oil your pizzas have been craving. Unlike most flavoured olive oils which are infused after pressing, Frantoio Muraglia press fresh Calabrian chilli peppers at the same time as the olives – so the oil is infused with flavour right at the point of extraction. This produces a finishing oil with the hot fruitiness of fresh red chillies, unlike any flavoured oil you’ve had before.

Michelin-starred chef, Angelo Sabatelli, says ‘I never used or appreciated aromatic oils in my courses… until I tasted Muraglia’s oils, produced with authentic ingredients, cold-pressed with olives.’ As well as pizza, the aromatic chilli oil is brilliant on pasta dishes and bruschetta. It’s also fantastic with hummus and white bean dips, or to add some fire to chunky vegetable soups.
