Delicioso salsa brava is a smoky tomato salsa with a gentle fruity spice. Made with tomatoes and piquillo peppers, this Spanish salsa has a strong sweet and fruity flavour that is balanced with the smokey warmth of paprika.
This salsa brava is an easy and instant way to make the classic tapas dish Patatas Bravas - spoon on top of crispy cubed potatoes and garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
Alternatively, add a spoonful to stews and sauces to add strong tomato and gently smoky flavours. It also wonderfully complements BBQ meats, or simply enjoy from the jar as a dip for tortilla chips or french fries.
Ingredients: Tomatoes (39%), piquillo peppers (21%), onions, water, extra virgin olive oil, white wine vinegar, purple garlic (garlic, salt, citric acid), hot smoked paprika (2%), cornflour, spices, sugar, salt, black pepper.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place: stir well before use. Refrigerate once opened and use within 4 weeks.-
