This almond paste is made from 100% almonds. Almond paste, or 'creme d'amandes', is a basic ingredient of French patisserie. Use the almond paste in frangipanes, whisked with egg whites and sugar. Add the almond paste to ice-creams, cake fillings or to the sponge itself. Enrich cookies with the almond paste and mix it with sugar to fill almond croissants. Almond paste is particularly useful for lining tarts to stop pastry from going soggy or for taking the edge off a lemon tart. Even use almond paste in the base of bread doughs for richness and depth of flavour.

Pistachio paste, hazelnut paste and a trio of nut pastes are also available.

Ingredients: 100% almonds. It is processed in a factory that processes all nuts including peanut, so is not recommended for someone allergic to any nut type.
