Description

Calendula is an edible flower, which will bring a burst of sunshine to the kitchen and mild floral flavours to your recipes. The petals can also be dried, and are known as ‘poor man’s saffron’ due to the intense yellow colour they give custards or chicken paella.

Packet includes 45 seeds. Plants grow to 30cm tall and 30cm wide.

How to grow edible calendula 

  • Sow indoors Feb-Mar and outdoors April-Jun.
  • Germinating time 7-15 days.
  • Harvest in 40-60 days.
  • Keep in full sun.
  • Water regularly, and moderately.
