The Fiasconaro Oro Di Manna colomba in a gift box is a show stopping Easter celebration cake, made with gianduja hazelnut chocolate, Sicilian honey and manna cream – all topped with white chocolate icing.

Manna is made from the sap of ash trees which grow on the Sicilian mountains between Castelbuono and Pollina. Farmers make incisions into the ash tree, and the Mediterranean sun draws out the sap, creating small crystals. This is then turned into a rich, sweetened cream used to fill croissants and pastries.

Colomba di Pasqua, or ‘Easter Doves’, are traditional dove-shaped Italian Easter cakes. Colomba are traditionally made with yeast and eggs, like panettone, but are topped with sugar icing or chocolate. Colomba undergo a quadruple-leavening process to make the finished cake exceptionally light and airy.

Fiasconaro produces some of Italy's finest confectionery and cakes. Their products use only the best Sicilian ingredients: Sicilian pistachios and dried fruit, flour from Sicily's highest Madonie mountains and geographically protected Modica chocolate.

Ingredients icing: vegetable oils and fats (sunflower oil, cocoa utter, safflower), white cane sugar, mannitol powder with manna (13.5%) (mannitol, manna (30%)), maltitol, powdered skimmed milkhazelnuts (corylus  avellana), whey protein, low-fat cocoa powder, safflower extract powder, emulsidier: soy lecithin, natural flavourings.
