Mermaid Hard Anodised Meat Tin


Use the Mermaid hard anodised meat tin for roasting whole joints, from juicy lamb shoulders to pork belly with crispy crackling. You can also use the tin for cooking whole root vegetables including squash and beetroot. 

This deep tin can also be used for baking American-style sheet cakes.

Aluminium offers even heat distribution throughout the entire tin, meaning there are no hot or cool spots, producing a consistent bake, everytime. This aluminium roasting tin has undergone an anodising process which hardens the aluminium, making it tougher and resistant to rust and the effects of frequent use. 

The dark finish is created by the electro-chemical process that hardens the outer layer of aluminium. This tin is a durable, long lasting piece of cookware that can be used time and time again.

The bakeware improves with age. Unlike products coated with non-stick (PTFE), which deteriorate with use, frequent use of the Mermaid products will enhance their release properties. After each use, the anodised surface captures and retains a microscopic film of lubricant which builds up to form a ‘patina’.

This tin comes in two sizes:

  • 12” (35cm x 24cm x 7.5cm)
  • 18” (46cm x 34cmx 7.5cm)

You can use this roasting tin on gas, electric, under the grill and in the oven.
