This chunky piccalilli is the first recipe the Manfood founders created. They added a touch of honey to balance the sharp cider vinegar that gives this condiment its unmistakeable tanginess. A sprinkle of spices – cumin, coriander and turmeric – gives the piccalilli a hint of moreish curry flavour.
Manfood was started by friends Jon Honeyball and Andre Dang. When Jon complained about the lack of properly crisp and chunky pickles, Andre took up the challenge of creating the perfect pickle. The first success became Manfood’s chunky piccalilli. Andre soon turned his hand to classics like bread & butter pickles and mango chutney.
