Manfood Ale Chutney 300g

Sweet and fruity with heaps of warm spices, Manfood ale chutney is so good from the jar that it might not even reach the fridge!

What sets this apart from other fruity chutneys is the addition of dark ale. It adds a rich, malty and almost chocolatey depth that makes the chutney feel more like a pudding than a condiment.

If you are can restrain yourself from simply diving in with a spoon, enjoy the ale chutney with left over cold cuts of roast meats. It’s fabulous with almost any cheese, in roast chicken sandwiches and with pates as well. The ale chutney is also a great accompaniment to roasted veggies like butternut squash, sweet potatoes and parsnips.

Manfood was started by friends Jon Honeyball and Andre Dang. When Jon complained about the lack of properly crisp and chunky pickles, Andre took up the challenge of creating the perfect pickle. The first success became Manfood’s chunky piccalilli. Andre soon turned his hand to classics like bread & butter pickles and mango chutney. The result is a range of pickles, chutneys, sauces and jellies that are big on flavour and texture. Simply grab a Manfood jar and enjoy with most things you’ll find in your fridge.
