Short Dated Maison Bremond Pistachio & Basil Pesto, 130g

Description

Maison Bremond’s pistachio and basil pesto is a fresh take on the classic sauce. It’s made in Liguria, northwest Italy, following a traditional recipe.

Genovese basil is blended with olive oil, garlic, Grana Padano cheese and pistachios. The result is a vibrant green sauce that’s bursting with flavour. The earthy, slightly sweet taste of pistachios is a great match for fresh, grassy basil.

Toss pistachio and basil pesto through pasta and top with grated Parmesan. It’s quick and comforting - perfect for busy weeknights.

This pesto is very versatile so don’t be afraid to get creative. Serve it as a dip for crudités or spread it on flatbreads and pizza bases. You can add it to pasta salads and spread it on wraps and sandwiches.

For a simple canapé, spread pesto on crostini or thin slices of baguette. Top with mozzarella, sliced cherry tomatoes and fresh basil. Serve with a glass of chilled prosecco.

Store in a cool dry place. Refrigerate after opening.
