Or, if you have a recipe and a large glass jar, simply add the kefir cultures to a milk or juice of your choice, shake well and leave for 24 hours. Each sachet of cultures is enough to make 1 litre of kefir.

Mad Millie kefir cultures are not the same as kefir grains. Kefir grains, much like a sourdough starter, need to be ‘fed’ regularly and can be recultured many times. These kefir cultures are an ‘instant’ version that don’t need feeding - simply add the cultures into your kefir recipe straight from the packet whenever you’re ready to make kefir.
