Inventis Trad’i blend dried yeast helps you create artisan-style loaves from your own kitchen. Unlike other yeast, Inventis pre-mix yeast with a small amount of wheat flour, kickstarting the fermentation process and creating a greater depth of flavour. The Trad’i blend is perfect for using in breads with subtle aromas such as:
- Multi-grain loaves
- Country-style white loaves
- Wholemeal rolls
The dried yeast blend should be used in the following ratio: 100 parts of flour, 65 parts of water, 6 parts Trad’I blend mix.
The yeast can be used in two ways:
- For a large quantity of dough, mix the whole sachet with 6kg flour and 3.9 liters of water.
- For smaller-scale doughs, use part of the sachet. Mix the yeast with flour and water (in the ratio above), then store the remaining yeast in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 weeks. For example, with 500g flour, use 325g water and 30g of the Trad’i blend mix.
