Fiasconaro Strawberry, Mint & Chocolate Colomba Gift Box 1kg


This strawberry, mint and chocolate colomba is the newest flavour from Fiasconaro for Easter 2022! The traditional slow-leavened Italian cake is studded with semi-candied Sicilian wild strawberries and enriched with natural mint extract for sweet and fresh flavours of spring. It is finished with a pastel pink icing of cherry jam from Castelbuono and a dusting of chocolate. 

Colomba di Pasqua, or ‘Easter Doves’, are traditional dove-shaped Italian Easter cakes. Aslow-leavened cake made with yeast, they are enriched with butter and eggs - much like panettone -  and are finished with icing and chocolate. These beautifully light cakes are a stunning  centrepiece to enjoy over the Easter period. 

Enjoy a slice of this colomba with mascarpone and fresh berries for an indulgent breakfast on Easter Sunday morning, or with your favourite brew as an afternoon treat. 

About Fiasconaro 

Fiasconaro produces some of Italy's finest confectionery and cakes. Their products use only the best ingredients from the island of Sicily: pistachios and dried fruit, flour from Sicily's highest Madonie mountains and geographically protected Modica chocolate.
