The fork is useful for dipping whole strawberries or figs, or for dunking fingers of shortbread. Use the spiral ‘skimmer’ to fully coat truffles or biscuits in a layer of chocolate. Pop a truffle on the skimmer and fully immerse in melted chocolate. Lift clear and let the excess drip away. Place the coated truffle on a tray lined with greaseproof paper and chill until set.
