The Ross & Ross jerk chicken BBQ rub is an easy way to spice up the chicken for your summer barbecues.
Jerk is a classic Jamaican spice blend. It gets hints of sweetness from allspice, cinnamon and ginger. There is always a fiery chilli element – in this blend it comes from a small amount of habanero chilli to tingle the taste buds!
Rub a generous amount into chicken drumsticks, wings and thighs. Leave for at least an hour before cooking, but for best results leave the rub to work its magic overnight. Season the chicken with a little extra sprinkle of salt right before you pop it on the barbecue.
