Arcos Nordika Santoku Knife, 19cm

Description

The Acros Nordika Santoku knife is an elegantly-crafted multi-purpose chef’s knife suitable for almost any kitchen preparation task. Santouku means ’three virtues’ or ‘three uses’ in Japanese - this is a knife that is perfect for meat, fish or vegetables of varying sizes and cuts.

The straighter blade makes an up-and-down chopping motion rather than a more traditional rocking motion associated with a Western blade, which gives a more controlled yet powerful cut. Made from Nitrum stainless steel that has been uniquely formulated by Acros, the Santoku knife offers increased strength and hardness and holds its sharp, smooth edge for longer.

The Nordika range are full-tang knives, meaning the central steel blade goes right through to the handle, for a heavier knife with a powerful cut. The rounded spine prevents hand abrasions and creates a flexible yet sturdy knife.
