Sous Chef is the “Aladdin’s cave of secret ingredients” – sold through our ecommerce website www.souschef.co.uk as well as direct to caterers and retailers. From Michelin-starred chefs’ favourites to authentic must-haves from around the world, we source thousands of unusual ingredients, alongside cookware and tableware; and bring them to our customers in an inspiring way.

The HR Coodinator is the internal ‘face of Sous Chef’ – keeping the people-side of the business running smoothly. You’ll be the go-to person for any HR queries or even disciplinary questions, and keep the business compliant in all aspects of HR administration and payroll.

Your Role

  • You'll run processes to manage the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding,
  • You'll ensure employees have the correct benefits, salary and leave - and support them with any queries,
  • You'll keep managers accountable for performance management including conducting absence, discliplinary and grievance processes, and
  • You'll be a key player in the recruitment process to support business growth from 70-250 people over the next three years. 

    The Ideal Candidate

    You'll have a minimum of 2 years experience as am HR Coordinator or Advisor gained in a fast moving logistics / distribution / manufacturing environment. You'll have experience of working with temporary and permanent staff, as well as be qualified to a minimum of CIPD Level 3.
