Description

The Opinel beech handle corkscrew combines Opinel’s world-famous pocket knife with a handy corkscrew. Now you really will be ready for anything on your next picnic or camping trip.

The modified Sandvik stainless-steel blade has a high carbon content, for excellent cutting quality and resistance to corrosion. The corkscrew is made from hardened stainless-steel for durability. The beechwood for the handle is from ethically sourced forests, and is varnished for resistance to water.

The Opinel family started as blacksmiths in Savoie, France in 1800. By 1890, Joseph Opinel had developed the first line of Opinel folding penknives, for which the company would soon become famous. The design is still true to the 200-year-old originals with just one little change – a rotating ‘cap’ where the blade meets the handle, so the knife can be locked open or closed.
