If you’re looking for something a little different from your dark chocolate, then Friis-Holm’s Barba single bean, 70% cocoa chocolate bar is what you need. With a sweet, mellow start that suddenly intensifies with a burst of peppery-spiciness on the back of the tongue before finishing with bitter cocoa notes, this is one truly unique bar of chocolate.

The Barba cacao variety is one of the rarest in the world. With only around 100 trees growing this heritage cacao in Nicaragua, you’ll not find a chocolate like this anywhere else. Friis-Holm’s Barba 70% won the Silver Medal in the European round and the Gold Medal in the Danish round of the International Chocolate Awards 2013.
