One of Carved Angel's signature flavours, the apple strudel Christmas pudding is a stunning twist on the classic. Appple strudel is combined with their traditional Christmas pudding, to make a moist apple, cinnamon, and calvados pudding sensation. Remember this pud isn't just for Christmas! Treat yourself on Boxing Day, New Year, or just as a warming winter treat.

This large Christmas pudding serves 6-8 people and comes in a ceramic pudding bowl to complete the traditional feel. Serve steamed or microwaved with a knob of brandy butter or a drizzle of brandy cream for a luxurious end to your Christmas celebration.

The Carved Angel was founded by one of Britain's favourite chefs and food writers, Joyce Molyneux. In 1978 Joyce became one of the first women in the world to be awarded a Michelin Star. Today, the Carved Angel sticks by their founder’s premise of sourcing only the highest quality ingredients.  Often adding a unique twist of their own, the Carved Angel will always have the ‘wow-factor’.

The Carved Angel is perhaps most famous for their Christmas Puddings. The story goes that while searching for the perfect winter dish, Joyce Molyneux came across a recipe for a traditional Christmas Pudding by the well-known Victorian chef, Eliza Acton. Joyce’s puddings soon became popular for being not too dark nor too pale, not too heavy nor too light, yet still with the richness expected of a good Christmas Pudding. Today, The Carved Angel continues to use Eliza Acton’s recipe for their Traditional Luxury Christmas Puddings, as well as adding their signature twist to a range of non-traditional puddings that are the perfect finish to any Christmas celebration.

Ingredients: apple (26%), sultanas (23%) (sultanas, non-hydrogenated cotton seed oil), pasteurised free range egg, sugar, non-hydrogenated vegetable suet (palm oil, sunflower oil, wheat flour, calvados [6%] [calvados, colour: plain caramel E150a]), fresh breadcrumbs (wheat flour, water, yeast, vegetable oil [rapeseed oil, palm oil], salt, spirit vinegar, soya flour, emulsifier: mono and diglycerides of fatty acids, diacetyltartaric acid, esters of mono and diglycerides), flour treatment agent: ascorbic acids, wheat flour, soft dark brown sugar, concentrated lemon juice, humectant: vegetable glycerin, cinnamon, salt.
