Finding the best producers is like a treasure hunt. A small family producer in Italy may make the most delightfully delicate olive oil, but because their expertise is olive oil making and not marketing, you may never hear about them.
And that’s a tragedy.
It’s what we’re fixing. Our team of 12 spends 8 hours a day foraging for and taste-testing the very best.

Great Service. It is my absolute favourite store for ingredients that I know where to find- but Sous Chef eliminates the time consuming trips to multiple stores and/or additional weight in my suitcase hauling the stuff from Mexico, China, Thailand, Japan, Spain, ….. Highly recommend and yes, it is addictive!
