Sweet Sicilian pistachio spread is an indulgent topping for panettone, croissants and crackers. It gets its colour and distinctive pistachio flavour from Sicilian pistachios.
Use the smooth and creamy pistachio spread as an instant filling for macarons. Serve the spread instead of whipped cream with fresh strawberries for a luxurious, yet light, dessert. The spread is also a brilliant filling for a Swiss roll – generously slather the pistachio cream over the sponge, add a layer of fresh raspberries and roll up for an afternoon tea treat.
