Original Bradley Smoker

Description

The Bradley Original Smoker was the first fantastic Bradley smoker, and has four separate levels for smoking – each rack is 11” x 13”. It's widely used by amateurs and professionals alike, to give the perfect level of smoke and cooking temperature time and time again.

The original Bradley smoker makes it easy to smoke your own meat, poultry, fish and even cheese.

This Original Bradley smoker is the best choice if you're comfortable with an analogue display. If you prefer digital displays then take a look at the digital four rack smoker. Or if you're catering for large numbers, you might like the digital six rack smoker.

Why you need a Bradley Smoker

Many smokers require constant attention to maintain the correct temperature and amount of smoke, but the Bradley smoker takes care of everything for you – just load up the smoke generator with your choice of Bradley wood bisquettes, set the desired temperature on the dial and switch it on. That’s all there is to it! The removable racks give you the potential to smoke much larger joints of meat – like a whole beef brisket or rack of ribs – or use all four at once to smoke smaller items like chicken, ribs and sausages.

How does it work?

Bradley smokers are unique in the way that the internal temperature is controlled by a separate heating element, and not by the burning of wood and coal – giving you peace of mind that the temperature will stay constant. They produce clean, cool smoke for up to 9 hours without the need for continuous checks. This is thanks to Bradley’s unique bisquettes and automatic feeding system – each bisquette burns for around twenty minutes, which prevents the temperature from fluctuating.

This also helps to remove the possibility for high temperature gases, acids or resins to be produced, all of which can have a negative impact on the flavour of your food. When a bisquette has finished burning, it is automatically dropped into the water pan on the bottom of the smoker. This immediately extinguishes the bisquette, making Bradley smokers extremely safe as well as revolutionary in the way they control temperature and smoke.

Where do I use it?

Bradley smokers are best used outdoors, as they require a natural draft to draw the smoke through the chamber. Bradley smokers have sturdy feet, so they can sit on the floor, a garden table or a workbench – as long as you have access to an outdoor socket and a flat surface, you can use the Bradley smoker! When not in use, make sure to unplug the smoker and use a waterproof cover.

It is possible to use Bradley smokers in an indoor space, such as a shed or garage, just make sure that the area is well ventilated and there is a method of smoke extraction – a standard extractor fan above the smoker would do the job.
