This charcuterie selection – known in Spain as compango – includes one smoked chorizo, one smoked morcilla (blood sausage) and a chunk of smoked pancetta from Asturias. The meats are smoked over oak fires to cure them, imparting a deep smoky flavour in the process. Fry slices of the three cured meats and add to some habitas fritas for a version of the famous Fabada Asturiana. Or experiment with adding the chorizo, morcilla and pancetta to paellas, tapas dishes, pasta dishes and casseroles. The smoky meat flavours work particularly well with fresh green vegetables and potatoes.

Also available are Smoked Asturian Chorizo Dulce and Smoked Asturian Chorizo Picante and Smoked Asturian Morcilla.

Ingredients: chorizo (pork loin, beef, bacon, paprika, salt, garlic), morcilla (onion, pumpkin, bacon, pig blood, paprika, salt, parsley), pancetta (bacon, salt, sugar, preservatives E250, E252). We recommend removing the skin on the morcilla before cooking. Store in a cool, dry place.
