The heritage Bundlette pan is the easy way to make eye-catching spiral cakes for a tea party or bake sale. Or make individual desserts for a dinner party, or even novelty baked ‘doughnuts’.

The heritage Bundtlette pan is part of Nordic Ware’s Platinum Collection. The range of heavy cast aluminium bakeware gets consistent rave reviews for their even cooking and easy release properties. A recipe is included on the cardboard sleeve for instant Bundtlette inspiration!

The pan makes 6 cakes, each 9cm in diameter and 4.5cm high.

Before and after each use, hand wash the Bundtlette pan with warm soapy water. Before pouring in your cake mixture, grease the inside of the pan and dust with sifted flour, fine semolina or cocoa powder to aid release. Do not use metal utensils or abrasive cleaning products, as these will compromise the non-stick properties of the Bundtlette pan.

Nordic Ware was started in 1946, by Dotty and Dave Dalquist in their Minneapolis basement. They started making speciality Scandinavian cookware, like the Ebelskiver pan. Then, in 1950s, they launched the Bundt pan. After being used to bake a prize-winning cake in a national baking contest, the Bundt pan shot to fame. It’s still Nordic Ware’s most popular style of product, used in over 70 million kitchens around the world.

70 years on, and Nordic Ware are still family owned and operated. They even still make most of their products in Minneapolis.
