Pandoro is a sweet yeast sponge traditionally enjoyed at Christmas time in Italy. This Chiostro di Saronno pandoro is rich in butter and eggs, with a light dusting of vanilla sugar and is shaped like a festive star. The pandoro comes in an elegant tin making it a lovely Christmas gift. To add even more festive cheer cut the pandoro horizontally into slices and rotate each slice an inch to create a Christmas tree effect.

Chiostro di Saronno's pandoro is prepared in the heart of Saronno, Italy, from a traditional recipe which dates back to the mid eighteenth century. Enjoy the pandoro for breakfast or afternoon tea with a drizzle of cream and plenty of fresh fruit.

Ingredients: wheat flour type 0, eggs, sugar, butter, yeast, glucose-fructose syrup, emulsifiers: mono and diglycerides of fatty acids, egg yolk, skimmed milk powder, salt, flavours, preservative: sorbic acid. Sachet of sugar: sugar, wheat starch, flavours. Contains wheat, eggs, milk. May contain traces of tree nuts and soy.
