We were pretty chuffed this morning when we got our hands on today’s copy of Shortlist to find our selection of chillies in ‘The Chosen Few’ section.
Here were the four varieties featured:
- Habanero chilli flakes, (£2.80/20g)
“Habanero flakes have a fieriness with a citrus twang. They can even be infused into mezcal for cocktails with a kick.”
- Choricero peppers, (£9/string of 20)
“Try soaking these peppers in warm water and then adding a couple to a soup or casserole.”
- Szechuan long chillies, (£3.50/200g)
“Use these to infuse dishes with a distinctive, aromatic heat, or use them to create flavoured oil.”
- Chipotle chillies, (£2.80/35g)
“These Mexican chillies have an amazing campfire aroma. They’re great for authentic, Mexican frontier cooking.”
